Reposting this Bentley Blue Train coupe I chopped several years ago. This is one of my all-time favorite creations of mine. I love the proportions, the roofline, the wrapped rear window, the coloring, the wheels, lol. This chop, more than any other early cars of mine, showed me I could redesign an entire car in Photoshop, not just adjust the grille, or wheels, or trim. For the history behind the Blue Train appellation, click here. Hopefully I'll be back to chopping new creations soon!
Bonus:
Also a repost, this is a "poster" I created years ago, to showcase the cars I had created up to that point. I could see this printed as placemats at a 24-hour truckstop, lol.
Very Nice. I love the color ( or should that be colour ? ). It reminds me a little of the last generation Mercedes CL. The car world is a bit diminished without these big coupes. Love it.

I remember this chop from teh Combustion Chamber (which pretty much self-combusted!). I know the story of the Blue Train and this would be perfect car in which to repeat the event.
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE the poster!!!!!
I wish I could click on each pic and enlarge it because many of them I've never seen before. Off the top of my head, I love the Ursaab convertible and the chopped Ford Popular. I've have to study it more closely to see what I remember fromt he "olden" days and what is new to me. You're pretty amazing in having done all of these! I'm in awe and in envy of your talent!

It's an nice looking car alright. You'd definitely notice it if you saw it rolling down the street. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteI can picture Ringo Starr driving this. There is plenty of space for his nose and drums, lol.
ReplyDeleteThis is great stuff. The '59 Cadillac and the Buick Wildcat are my favorites, but it's all good. Thanks for sharing this stuff!
