2014 Buick Riviera—The Boattail is B-A-C-K!

My 2014 Riviera would be based on the longer platform of my 4-door Corvette Corsa. The Riv would be slightly shortened for proper 2+2 fold-down seating a la the Porsche 911. Creature comforts and modern connectivity abounds and there two higher-performance models, the GS and GS/h hybrid. Completely up-to-date LED lighting is housed in retro chrome-trimmed nacelles front and rear.

  1. Love your Riviera Casey! I've always been a fan of the 71's. Updating it on a Vette platform is brilliant! Give us a front 3/4 view.

    1. Hey PX! Thanks! I'm thinking about the front view. I want to give it the nose-forward thrust of the '71s but with the overall proportions of the Vette. Not sure how it's going to work out!

  2. Think Mako Shark concept with Riviera overtones.

  3. Wow, a disco ball would fit perfectly in the background, perhaps replacing the sun to commemorate the car with the time period with the car, no?

  4. I love your Boattail Riviera. I always loved the original as well, at least untill it was toned down. I really like the subtle folded glass backlight that you have given your new version.

  7. Sign me up. I would immediately head for the dealership to buy this Riv. Buick is long overdue for a car like this. Why doesn't Buick offer any performance muscle 2 doors to compete with the Camaro, Mustang and Challengers? Listen to us Buick. You've dropped the ball over the last 25 years.
